The Kapro 987XL SATURN™ Box Level is a solid go-to for your tool box. Its easy to read super magnified solid acrylic horizontal vial is hand calibrated at an extraordinary accuracy of < 0.0005 in/in (0.5 mm/m).
Levels 48" and under are finely milled for maximum accuracy, and the wall-grip feature allows for easy one-handed control. Levels over 48" are coated in chip-resistant paint.

Are the end caps removable?
The 987's end caps are not designed to be removable.
Is it durable enough to do masonry work with?
The 987 could be used for masonry. However, our masonry specific level's heavy-duty profile and strike pads are more suitable. Check out the Kapro 985T Titan or the 920 Shark.
How do I care for my level?
Store your level vertically by the hang hole. Invest in a carry case like the Kapro Bag3L1T or Kapro Case-48. Avoid dropping or placing heavy objects on top of it. Do NOT submerge in water to clean. Instead, wipe clean with a damp cloth.
