This Laser level packs the features of the larger lasers in a very compact, easy to carry and mount product, and its own omni-set tripod that is practically attachable to anything. This tripod is attached to the Kapro 842 with a ¼” thread, so you can mount it on other brackets in case of need.
Powerful Precision
The Kapro 842 holds an accuracy of 0.0004″/” (0.4 mm/m) and an extreme self-leveling range of ±3° (lower is better).
It has intersecting horizontal and vertical with an operational range of 50’ (15m), and for angular layout/ tilted marking you can use the Manual mode. It has a visible 'out of level' warning, allowing you to make adjustments at a distance.

How do I choose the right laser level for me?
If you need a laser for home improvement or DIY use, the 842 or 862 work well. Professionals should consider the Kapro 873, or 8991. If you prefer a more visible beam, green lasers are 8X more visible than red, but red has twice the battery life.
How do you lock the pendulum?
The pendulum will lock automatically when turned off.
How do I care for my laser?
Turn laser off to lock the pendulum diode when moving. Avoid dropping. Do NOT submerge in water. If dirty, wipe with a cloth dampened with water.
