Its 8.5 mm diameter camera is rated IP67 for complete dust and particle protection, and is able to be submerged in water up to 0.5 m for 30 minutes. The control is cased in a protective, shock-proof casing.

Yes, the 397 DeepVision is rated IP67. It is dust proof, and can be submerged in water at a depth of 3 feet for up to 30 minutes.
How do I care for my borescope?
Store your level vertically by the hang hole. Invest in a carry case like the Kapro Bag3L1T or Kapro Case-48. Avoid dropping or placing heavy objects on top of it. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents.
