FAQ
Will this detect moisture underneath linoleum?
No, the 379 must be in contact with the material it is measuring. The linoleum would act as a barrier to the wet material underneath. It must first be pulled up.
Will this work on gypsum board?
Yes, the 379 works on gypsum board, also known as plasterboard or drywall.
How many types of wood can be tested?
The 379 can measure 314 different types of wood with 8 calibration scales. A list is included in the manual at purchase.
How do I care for my moisture meter?
Avoid dropping or placing heavy objects on top of it. Do NOT submerge in water to clean. Instead, wipe clean with a damp cloth.
