How do I care for my level?
Store your level vertically by the hang hole. Invest in a carry case like the Kapro Bag3L1T or Kapro Case-48. Avoid dropping or placing heavy objects on top of it. Do NOT submerge in water to clean. Instead, wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Is it covered under warranty?
Yes, the solid acrylic vial is covered for manufacture defect for the life of registered tools.
Any damage by user due to improper use or accident is NOT covered under warranty.
Does the 985T have a version with handles?
No, the 985T is completely handless for easy cleaning of mortar. Try the 985 Apollo, the non-mason version of this level.
What is the difference between magnified and regular vials?
Magnified vials are 33% larger and are much easier to see. They also eliminate the parallax issues that traditional vials have.
