The Kapro 8991 GREEN is a must-have for any job that requires accurate, long range, measurements, in various worksites and weather conditions.
It offers a great operating diameter of 890’ (300 m) and an exceptional accuracy of 0.0001”/1” (0.1 mm/m). The separate detector also means that you can track measurements from a distance.
The laser beam can be customized with five different rotation speeds and six scan modes and can be tilted up to 5° in both X and Y planes for sloping and gradation. The unique side-thread turns the Kapro 8991 GREEN to a perfect vertical laser.
It's green lasers are 8X more visible than the traditional red.
The Kapro 8991 GREEN is made with durable materials, and the glass that protects the laser is able to withstand a lot before breaking. Working outdoors in the pouring rain or dealing with a lot of unexpected dust and fog? Don’t worry, this IP65 rated is totally water and dust-proof and comes with a 2 year warranty replaceable over the counter.

What does the lifetime vial accuracy warranty cover?
The lifetime vial accuracy warranty covers the part of your vial, not the whole level.
Please note that only solid acrylic vials are covered under the lifetime warranty. Cylindrical vials are covered for 1 year - frame damage voids the warranty.
Should your vial fail due to factory defect, Kapro will either replace the level or offer MSRP value in the form of a coupon to use here on ShopKapro, depending on availability - discontinued items are not eligible for exact replacement.The warranty does not cover damage to the level from misuse, abuse, or accidental damage.
Should the vial fail due to frame damage, warranty is voided.
If my frame is damaged, will it be covered under warranty?
No, the lifetime vial accuracy warranty only covers the part of the vial for factory defects.
Frame or milled surface damage from misuse, abuse, or accidental drops and falls void the warranty on the vial.
Are cylindrical vials covered under the lifetime vial accuracy warranty?
No, cylindrical vials are only covered under a 1 year limited warranty - Frame damage voids warranty.
