Are you ready for an upgrade? Kapro's 985DL Digital Level is back and better than ever with a parallel laser pointer (Range: 165'), and a 1/4" tripod thread. Add this professional-grade digital level to your toolbox, boasting an LCD readout and two hand calibrated, VPA certified in Germany vials.
Digital readings, shown on a back-lit LCD, are accurate to 0.1° for level and plumb and 0.2° for angle of incline. The level has shockproof, solid acrylic vials that have a sensitivity of 0.0005 in./in. (0.5 mm/m) and are machined from an optical-grade acrylic block to provide clear readings and resist breakage. Make difficult reading angles and sore necks a thing of the past with our Plumb Site® view. Read the vial from the top or the side.
Select from a range of modes, such as degree selection, percentage, pitch, and a hold function that freezes a reading on the display. The Kapro 985DL Digital Level has enough data storage and recall for up to nine measurements, re-calibration, and a buzzer at 0°, 45°, and 90° inclinations. The digital readout flips when the level is turned upside down and operates on one 9V battery (sold separately). A low-battery indicator signals when the battery needs to be changed, and the readout turns off after 10 minutes of non-use to conserve battery life.
The base of the level is magnetic for adhering to metal surfaces. End caps absorb shock from impacts and an ergonomic, non-slip handle provides portability and ease of use. The level has an aluminum body for light weight and corrosion resistance. Levels are used in the building trades, engineering, surveying, and metalworking, among other applications.

What does the lifetime vial accuracy warranty cover?
The lifetime vial accuracy warranty covers the part of your vial, not the whole level.
Please note that only solid acrylic vials are covered under the lifetime warranty. Cylindrical vials are covered for 1 year - frame damage voids the warranty.
Should your vial fail due to factory defect, Kapro will either replace the level or offer MSRP value in the form of a coupon to use here on ShopKapro, depending on availability - discontinued items are not eligible for exact replacement.The warranty does not cover damage to the level from misuse, abuse, or accidental damage.
Should the vial fail due to frame damage, warranty is voided.
If my frame is damaged, will it be covered under warranty?
No, the lifetime vial accuracy warranty only covers the part of the vial for factory defects.
Frame or milled surface damage from misuse, abuse, or accidental drops and falls void the warranty on the vial.
Are cylindrical vials covered under the lifetime vial accuracy warranty?
No, cylindrical vials are only covered under a 1 year limited warranty - Frame damage voids warranty.
